I am looking for someone to come and give a basic training of ASL to my staff. I am the Program Director for a Day Program in Watertown, MA for adults with mental retardation. I have a staff of 14 and a client base of 45. Our focus is vocational employment. I am very interested in schooling my staff on ASL to improve the communication skills with many of the adults, for both the low functioning and higher functioning.W e are a nonprofit and have a tight budget but might be able to afford to bring someone in for a few trainings. I am 20 years old and was born in Iran. My father is 100% Persian and my mother is 100% German (makes me half and half) I grew up in Germany and speak fluent German, now I live in the US and speak fluent English. My father passed away a few years ago and I would love to learn my fathers language. I would like to learn and keep something of his culture which is part of mine. I have family over there but do not know how to communicate with them. I'd love to learn some basic Persian (writing and speaking). I want to do this as a hobby, as I work full-time, and would like to do this after work for a while or couple times a week.
I'm looking for someone who knows the language, can make the learning fun, and have patience and is dedicated to teaching Persian.

Hi, I am a German native living in San Diego, Southern California. I am looking for a local Nepali teacher. My boyfriend is from Nepal which is why I want to learn the language. I am interested in formal teaching with a bit more dicipline and speed than my boyfriend is willing to come up with.
I have learned several languages before and consider myself a very quick learner. I would like to meet two or three times a week minimum.
I need a teacher who is willing to try the more modern approach with speaking first, then writing and grammar, but I am flexible and open to more conservative methods as well.
