I want to learn Pashto prior to traveling to Afghanistan so that I can more easily interact with local Afghans and immerse myself in the country's rich culture.
M y current proficiency level is absolute beginner - I have learned the alphabet and am working on completing a level 1 course, but this will only provide me with a very basic introduction to the language.
I am hoping to dedicate about 10-20 hours to tutoring before I leave for Afghanistan (in addition to self-study).
I would like to find a language teacher that is patient, friendly, and has a good understanding of grammar - I want to understand how to form my own sentences, not simply memorize whole phrases.

There are three of us who would like to learn Italian for the purpose of conversation and perhaps travel to Italy. This would be a group lesson. We consider ourselves to be beginners adn will need instruction on proper grammar, pronounciatio n and sentence structure. We have one to two days a week we would like to devote to our lessons.
