My name is Adam Bloodworth. My girlfriend, Rosalind, and I just returned from a year in Russia and are looking to continue our language study. We are both at an advanced level and want to build upon our current knowledge. We are both hoping to find work in Russia in the future, and so we are very committed to studying. Hello, and thank you very much for your time. My original reason for learning Thai was to better communicate on a trip I was going to make to Thailand with a Thai co-worker.I have never been over seas and my freind is Thai so I thought this was the time to finally get out and see some of the world,especia lly since my freind keeps saying how beautifull Thailand is!! He is from Chiang Mai.but since I have now been studying on my own,,I have found that I have made some real progress esspecialy in reading and writing,I find it very satisfying to be able to speak another language that is so different than english,,and I would like to progress to the next level. As for my proficiency level,I believe I would be somewhere about low intermediate. As for my areas of improvement I think it would probably be in comprehension ,since I study alot of vocab. but dont have a chance to hear it very much. I would like to spend about 2 hours of study a day. I am looking for a teacher who is willing to spend most of our lesson time speaking to me in Thai, and that would also be able to give me some kind of work to take home that I could work on.
