I am in an upper level Arabic course at Brandeis University. However, I am going through my 5th teacher in 3 years and I feel as though I am struggling. Furthermore, while I generally understand grammar, I have a lot of trouble understanding vocabulary and i'raab (voweling) because it was taught to me so late. At least half the tutorring session should be practicing vocab and the other half should deal with grammar.

Beginner - I wish my son to learn chinese because dual language is good for skill building. I think younger children pick up language faster than waiting until high school to study. Its a shame that kids dont begin to learn other languages in elementary school like in other countries.

I am open to suggestion as I am not a language professor. I would prefer teachers that at least have a BA but am also flexible.

I am seeking a tutor for middle school level Spanish. This is my grandson's first year of Spanish and he started out with a lot of enthusiasm but has fallen behind. He has lost interest with learning by simple repetition. I would like someone who will engage him to learn by other methods. I think one or two lessons a week would be sufficient.
