German is my favorite language. I lived in Munich for short times in 1971 and 1972 and used to speak German quite well. Presently I watch German DVDs with subtitles to practice, and use German as much as possible. However, I would like to have someone who would help me practice the language.

My family history originated in Mexico and El Salvador. My grandmother spoke/speaks Spanish but did not teach us or her children to speak Spanish because of the stigma and shame. I would like to learn Spanish now. That way when someone asks me if I speak Spanish I can say sí.
