I would like to learn because my family is from Belize, Central America and I have never learned spanish properly. My mother and grandmother thought it was a bad idea in the 70's to teach us younger ones spanish. Now my husband is from St. Croix and he speaks spanish fluently and I would like to be more in touch with my hispanic culture. I would love to speak to my children and help them learn such a beautiful language. I also would like to be able to speak to my mom and grandmother in spanish, it will be quite a treat . Also I have relatives in Panama and though they speak english very well, I would like to communicate in their native language. I would be able to dedicate 4 hours a week and I would like a teacher who is a native spanish speaker so that I would be able to communicate with that person I prefer to learn from a spanish speaker instead of the text book. I do better when I learn one on one instead of the books. The more I speak the better I get at it.

I am a beginner who has been trying to teach himself. I wish to become proficient in Tibetan as part of my religious training and, hopefully, begin working on translating classical texts, as well as serving the Tibetan community in exile in any way possible. I am willing to devote a minimum of 10-15 hours weekly for study, not including tutorials. I am looking for a teacher who has a command of English, is a good educator who can move his or her student along, and has a good sense of humor.

I am a beginner with no prior experience and would like to be able to communicate (watch a TV program and or conversation) . I am interested in meeting once per week preferable on the weekends. The type of instructor that I would like to work is someone who has been teaching for awhile and knows how to get me to the level that I would like to be in the shortest about of time possible.
