I'm a Greek-America n who is trying to learn Greek in order to get more in touch with her roots and to be able to speak to family members! I speak a little Greek so far, but I'm probably a beginner. I would like to work at least a few days after school with a tutor in order to get more proficient, and I would also like a good amoutnof emphasis on conversation, as I can already read and write. I am a beginner, and I would like to learn Italian for my business. I am a chef and we are in the process of opening an Italian Cafe/Bakery I plan to visit Southern Italy (the focus of our food) to visit eateries and talk with local chefs. To do that I think it would be of great help if I were able to speak the language. I am looking for lessons each week. My goal is to be proficient enough to be capable of speaking with people while I spend 2 months in Italy doing research.
Im looking for a teacher who uses a method that will help with retention, use, and overall correct pronounciatio n. Im a quick learner if things are explained to me in a clear and precise way. I have determination to learn the language and I feel that this is something that can be done within a years time.
